Christina and Julian started their day getting ready at their Airbnb in the town of Joshua Tree. They had a slow morning relaxing and taking in the late fall desert air, easing themselves into their exciting day ahead. They decided to share their vows at their Airbnb with a simple but beautiful arch and table scape set up that complimented the desert scenery around them. We started off their elopement with some photos in this beautiful setting, before moving into their vow sharing ceremony. Once that was done we took more fun photos around the property and the quiet streets around it, soaking in late morning sun and the feeling of being in their own world out in nature.

We had lot’s of fun playing around on the quiet roads around Christina and Julian’s Airbnb before eventually heading into the park for some hiking and some more time in nature. We did some easy trails around the park and enjoyed the quieter/less touristy crowd that was there on a Sunday in December. We mainly hung out around Hidden Valley Picnic Area, which is usually pretty crowded but this time of year it was perfect. The weather was absolutely perfect on this day – about 65-70 degrees and sunny for most of the day, with temperatures dipping a bit after the sun started to go down.

Christina and Julian’s quiet fall elopement in Joshua Tree was the most beautiful way for these two to kick off their marriage. They were able to really enjoy this huge milestone in their lives in an intimate and meaningful way with just each other.
If you’re dreaming of saying your vows and celebrating with the love of your life in the beautiful golden desert light then Joshua Tree is the perfect place for the occasion.
